Posting for traffic but I've seen a few posts that have pissed me off recently regarding how the OP has been treated by colleagues over their appearances.
Years ago I worked with much younger colleagues who were childless and I had my DC and was repeatedly fat shamed, but slyly. (Size 14/16) and just lots of snarky shitty comments that made my life quite shit.
Being reminded of these times I decided to have a FB snoop on the women who behaved so badly towards me and their open FB shows nothing but "mum bod acceptance" posts, as they've all gained baby weight, and have found the ageing process to be quite gruelling, mentally, from things they've written.
Because I'm not a complete arsehole I hope they've never been made to feel how they made me and other women feel, but have learnt from their twattish ways through self reflection.
Anyway, if you're being made to feel like shit due to the mean girl behaviour of colleagues, or anyone, please appreciate that it may bite them on the arse like it has my bullies and they'll be sharing "you're a tiger who earned her stripes" posts once the reality of gaining weight or pregancy gives them a reality slap.
As opposed to the times they asked me, "doesn't having a belly like a road map upset you?"
If you're being bullied over something as silly as temporary as looks or your figure, then know those are weak and dull people and you really shouldn't let the actions of such people hurt you. Easier said than done, but for yourself, try.
