To get annoyed about kids clubs on direct debit

One of my kids' weekly sports lessons have recently switched to monthly direct debit. Feels so wrong to pay over summer when we're not going. I know it averages out but I'm not sure what we're doing in September. Does anyone else have this set up with sports lessons/any other activities?

All our other clubs are paid termly/for a block of lessons

If it is merely averaging out the fee so you pay less each month but the same for the sessions then I think YABU.

I would prefer a monthly costs than one termly lump sum.

We offer a monthy DD or a termly payment. Some parents prefer spreading it out.

If you aren't planning on returning its polite to tell them now... we are juggling the groups now ready for September.

My kids clubs are on Direct Debit and it's great. I don't have to think about paying them, it happens by magic.
