Some providers do - I believe Staysure will - but obviously it’s reflected in the cost because they can’t adequately establish your risk of claiming.

M&S are really good for travel insurance if you have health conditions/ waiting for info. Get Going also do this. You pay a bit more, but you are covered - and I find if you do need to use it - there are zero quibbles.

Thank you

We couldn’t get any for my step father to cover the part he was waiting for test results for or anything that they considered could be a side effect.
He ended up getting insurance that excluded that cover and risking it (rightly or wrongly!), that was with StaySure. Most just said outright no.

You can but it's through providers who are set up to calculate the risks and sometimes there's conditions placed in relation to the potential undiagnosed condition. You pay for this too obviously, it's not going to be a few pounds.

I have used AllClear and StaySure for travelling with an illness. I used AllClear last year when quite ill, and they covered me for complications from that illness too. It cost me, but was worth the peace of mind (I paid £360 for 10 days in Spain - so not cheap!)

My family and I have been using It's So Easy Travel for about 20 years. They are excellent for a huge variety of pre-existing illnesses and conditions.
Of course, travel insurance costs have gone up over time.
