To ask how people think the weather will be at the end of august and into September?

I’m getting married at the start of September, a coastal venue and outdoor wedding.

I’m start to feel like this gloomy rain and colder temps is here to stay.. I really have my fingers crossed for good weather.

Of course I wouldn’t want a heatwave, but a nice bit of sunshine and ultimately dry weather would be appreciated.

AIBU to ask your opinions on what you think the weather will do in the next month or so?! 😅

I predict a warm sunny day with a gentle breeze. However there may be scattered showers later on so advise your guests that you have no control over the weather and they should prepare accordingly.

July is often a changeable month June August and September are usually best.

Before this gloomy weather came, it was lovely and sunny for weeks. Things change all the time but generally, I always think of September as a warm & sunny month! July definitely is a rainy/stormy month in my head

From the second week in August, the weather will be fine and dry.

End of August/ September to me always feels more of a dry/ sunny spell.

I went to a wedding in March, the weather had been horrendous for weeks before it, a huge run of stormy days so we'd prepared for the worst with umbrellas etc and actually the weather was beautiful. Rain came back the following day but it was gorgeous the day of the wedding and so unexpected, it's so hard to tell what you'll get in the UK

I predict it will be unpredictable

This changeable weather is likely to be with us for another 4 weeks or so.
I reckon it will improve later in August and extend into September.

Whereabouts- East or West Coast, north/south?

The children (England) start to go back to school in September so it usually guarantees good weather.

Oh and have a lovely wedding OP, try not to fret about things beyond your control.

No one knows. But if it is on the west coast more likely to be wet.

I got married in August in a heatwave, my sister got married the end of the following September and it was cold, miserable and pissing with rain.

It could be anything.
