DD is very nearly 3 and is currently co-sleeping. I don't mind this so much but do miss having a few hours to myself in the evening.
She has never slept well, has put me off ever having any more children. She did go in her own room for around a year with around 5 wakes but this gradually increased and she started getting night terrors to the point of screaming in the early hours of the morning. I was exhausted to the point of being unable to go to work, she ended up sleeping with me since and does now sleep through the night. Although doesn't go to sleep until later then I would like.
We are moving home in a few weeks. We will be in a temporary home for a few weeks where she will have to share my room, I'm thinking at this point to put her bed in my room so she will get used to being in there and then when we move to our permanent home put her in her own room.
Does this sound like I good idea? How about if she refuses to go into her bed, how do I handle that?. I would love her in her own room but the thought of going back to the sleepless nights fills me with panick.
