DS’s stinks, he chews it. Only 7 months and not sure what’s best to wash it with?!

I put my sons jelly cat Maximilian Monkey in the washing machine, he's had it since he was a baby , his tail has been chewed and chewed he only has about 3 inches left on it 😄 he's 9 now and still sleeps with it and takes it everywhere ❤️

My 11yo still sleeps with his Jellycat cat. It also has no tail bc he basically ate it and is missing an eye (I removed that after a while bc I was worried he'd eat that too).

Eh? Does he not have washing instructions? Is a washing machine not an obvious choice what a weird question.

indiopx · 10/07/2023 20:41

@Sheranovermytoes jelly cats aren’t supposed to be machine washed according to their website…

My granddaughters little rabbit jelly cat has been washed so many times it's nearly worn out , she's had spiky every day for the past 5 years. Spiky has had an arm replaced twice , new ear inserts and feet bottoms replaced and she still loves him .

Wash both my kids ones in the washing machine fairly regularly, mostly with the bedding. They come out fine 😊

Washing machine and tumble dryer. One is 11 years old and the other 9 years old and still very loved and cuddly.

Neither are the cushion covers on my sofa but I still put them in the washing machine 😆 Honestly it's fine, put it on a gentle wash or just hand wash it if you're worried x

Yeah there's a lot of stuff that isn't supposed to go in the washing machine, dishwasher etc. They soon learn some harsh lessons about life with me.

Burn it in the hellfire

BeverlyBrook · 11/07/2023 09:18

I call it "a trip around the washing machine" like it's a teddy day out. A bit of Daz and they are as good as new
