Seed like diarrhoea in 7 week old *warning poo pic*

Hello

I have a 7 week old who's been diagnosed with CMPA and reflux.

She's on omeprazole and Aptamil Pepti 1 formula for the CMPA.

She's been in agony with constipation, writhing around and pushing herself to top of her Moses basket where she's straining so hard.

Dr prescribed Movicol today.

Before giving her this, she managed to push out a hard bit of poo then had diarrhoea which looks like it's got seeds in it.

Any ideas? Thank you!

The seedy yellow poo is normal for breastfed babies, can't remember about formula but. Hard isn't normal though so hopefully now your baby will be far more comfortable.

It looks normal to me ( the seeds) from breastfed baby poop but apparently formula fed can look like that too

That’s totally normal baby poo.

The seedy poo is undigested fat. Very normal for young babies and I'd guess it would be a result of changing formula. Nothing to worry about 😊 her body will soon get used to the new formula

Totally normal and looks like constipation has cleared out :)

My three formula fed babies all had this

The seeds are undigested bits of milk fat (I think) and normal
