Vinted buyer asking for a refund after the 2 day deadline

Hellzbellz25 · 10/07/2023 12:39

What would you do? The buyers have two days to report a problem but she clicked everything was ok and the money went into my Vinted account, she's not saying she thinks something has been worn more than once when it hasn't and wants to arrange a return ourselves which would mean giving my address out and transferring money from my bank account, it's only £7, would you let her return the item? It was honestly worn once but she says the size label is washed out

No way.. she said everything is fine! Can’t backtrack after deadline had passed. Don’t refund..

Noshowlomo · 10/07/2023 12:40

Ignore. She’s left it after the time allowed.
I had this, she complained 5 days after I had received payment. Tough!

Flockameanie · 10/07/2023 12:41

Ignore!

RicciardoPerez · 10/07/2023 12:42

No chance! She's had her chance and she said all was fine.

Theduchy · 10/07/2023 12:42

No, definitely not.

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 10/07/2023 12:43

Definitely don't refund!

NeverThatSerious · 10/07/2023 12:43

Tough. Vinted are very clear that once you click that ‘everything is okay’ button, that’s that.

Blackbyrd · 10/07/2023 12:45

Agree with others, absolutely not. Do you really want someone like her having your personal information?

Hellzbellz25 · 10/07/2023 12:45

Thank you for reassuring me! Can always rely on Mumsnet, she can stuff off

How much do you want to bet that she’s worn it for whatever she needed it for and now wants to get her money back.
You’ve followed the process and sold in good faith. This is not your problem anymore.

that went through my head as well...

Gymmum82 · 10/07/2023 12:51

Nope she should have clicked I have a problem. I always check and make sure everything is ok before I click that button. I wouldn’t expect to be able to return it after the fact

Thebigblueballoon · 10/07/2023 12:51

Yep, she’s worn it and now wants her money back. I wouldn’t even bother to reply.

londonrach · 10/07/2023 12:55

No way give personal information....ignore and block her. Do not sent back

Hellzbellz25 · 10/07/2023 13:15

I have blocked her, thanks for the advice, I can't believe she'd want to parcel it up and mess about posting it for the sake of less than a tennor!

And pay for postage- or would she have wanted that back as well?

Hellzbellz25 · 10/07/2023 14:17

Probably!!
