Has anyone used the passport one week service?

If so is it really guaranteed within 7 days? We have decided to book a really last minute break but 3 of us need passports. Have found an appt for 10 days before we fly but obviously don't want to waste money booking the holiday if we won't have them in time!

I haven't tried that but used the normal post service for 3 passports last month (1 adult renewal, 1 child renewal and 1 child first) all returned in under 10 days. Depending on timings could you just send them in now?

Ours returned on the 7th day in fast track week service.

DH did it this week (lost passport), appointment was Wednesday morning, passport was delivered Friday morning.

Are you somewhere you can easily get an appointment though - our local passport office had loads, but not all of them do at this time of year.

Sorry, just realised you said you'd found an appointment. In which case, it should be fine. They sent it 24 tracked royal mail.

Yes - my daughter had to use it a few weeks ago after damaging her passport just over a week before she was due to fly. She had an appointment in Liverpool on the Friday, new passport arrived on the Tuesday. The staff were very helpful and reassuring.
