is anyone finding the same?
im on easyjet holidays and looking at holidays that advertise free child places.
trying to book a holiday for 2 adults plus one 5 year old - £600 each so that would be £1200…..but the website showing £1800.
am I being daft or is the website not working?

I'm sure when I looked with easyJet it showed the final price when searching, I fell into that trap too

Ineedsleepandcoffee · 07/07/2023 20:47

I think the searches don't always show only the free child places so it can be misleading

cherryassam · 07/07/2023 20:48

The total price they show in the search is the price you’ll pay.

They divide the price per person by the number of people going (3) not the number of paid passengers (2).

cherryassam · 07/07/2023 20:48

I don’t think it makes much sense, but it’s to make the per person price look better than it is I think

HeythereDelila1 · 07/07/2023 20:57

Ahh ok - that makes sense. Which they would put somewhere on the website an explanation!

Yeah I’m not sure why they do it like that! It’s annoying. If you click on the little ‘i’ next to the per person price it explains it, although even that isn’t worded very clearly

I have had this exact issue and stopped looking at the easyJet website as I thought I was going mad. Tui do free child places and it's exactly as you'd expect it to be.
