In the week leading up to my period I feel horrendous. Physically I have an ongoing headache which culminates in a migraine. I feel nauseous a lot of the time. My moods are off the scale as is my anxiety. I cry at anything. My sleep is disjointed. I feel utterly fucking shit. I’m 35. It’s always been these symptoms but just not as bad. Has anyone been through this and managed to deal with it effectively? I am exhausted.

Have u tried the pill?
herbal supplements can sometimes help too?

Pain killers for the headaches/migraines, an understanding husband and kids, and a willingness to change jobs when the anxiety gets too much.

I have (finally) been prescribed iron tablets and buy vitamin b12 supplements and find this helps to an extent but I think you just get used to being tired.

I'm hoping for the menopause to come soon.

Do you also get a slight chill, temperature sways? And refulx and sinus problems? I had what you’re describing, except for the tearfulness. It only started after having children and got worse. Thought I’d have to stop working. I got specialist advice, zoladex implant to trial options and eventually a permanent operation. I feel fantastic now - absolutely life changing for me. It’s good that you’re talking about it, go see specialists until you have your answers. You’re not imagining it.
