I recently joined a job, around 20 hours per week. I went in for training, had a bit of training then was left to my own devices. Whilst being trained I was told that the boss pays late, they have never had a pay on time.
I was never asked my national insurance number or to fill out a new starter form however I have worked in places that did this closer to pay day. My partner who watched the kids suddenly left and I had no one to watch my child so I had to leave this job. However I worked two weeks and have not been paid. Any requests for money have been ignored, should I make the journey to go down there and ask for my money in person?
