Can't find how to cancel beauty box subscription - think I'm being ripped off.

Just had notification my Lookfantastic beauty box is on its way. I have been trying to cancel this for weeks, but when I last contacted their help team they said I didn't have a subscription. My account says I don't have a subscription so why the actual holy fuck am I getting a box and being charged for it. I have menopausal RAGE about this. I'm on with live chat now. Bloody useless. Grrrrrr

If it's a direct debit/standing order, you can just cancel it with the the bank?

I'm going to cancel it with the bank. My issue is that I'd tried to cancel this last month and they said I didn't have a subscription. My account says I don't have a subscription. I thought it was a blip, but obvs not. Cancelling bank is next step but I'm keen to know how this happened.

You can send them an email. They are usually quite good at coming back.

If it's your credit card, contact the provider and tell them you haven't approved/agreed the transactions. They'll be able to help you.

Oh I get it OP, they don't have a direct debit, but they have your card number which they process every month - so you can't cancel it from the bank end.

Very sneaky for them to say you don't have a subscription, then how is the recurring payment happening every month? just lodge a complaint with their customer services.

Easier said than done. Honestly dreadful service. Thanks for advice, will speak to bank tomorrow and see what they say.

Can you contact them on twitter and shame them publicly? Sometimes that works.

If it’s your debit card unfortunately they can keep taking money even if you cancel the card. Depends what you ‘signed’

Keep searching through their website. The way to cancel will be hidden deep in there somewhere.

Go to my account
Subscriptions
See if any say active

How much is being taken out of your account? If it is £13 then you signed up for a 12 month subscription, and it will be difficult to get out of this contract.
If it's £15 then it's a monthly rolling subscription which is easy to cancel.
