Any tech people have advice on how to find the phone?

DS has lost his phone. He can't remember if he left it at mums or at home. He defo had it on the way to mums yesterday lunchtime. Its clearly out of battery now.

I've tried Google find my phone but it says can't connect to device. Find my phone has four devices showing connected to his email although I think they are duplicated as 2 are showing currently connected which is my phone.... the other two are his ... One which is the model of phone says it last connected on the 1st July (sat) and the other (which is the name his phone was given) says it connected 13 hours ago but I don't know why they different times.

I've tried looking in YouTube History ne he hasn't watched a video on the phone since yesterday lunchtime.

We've looked everywhere obvious and not obvious so could do with knowing where it was after 2 as that will show me which house its at so I can tear that house apart!

Is there a way fo find it?

@Qantaqa it might be possible to use Google history to trace locations - but that depends on their settings

What was the journey between your mums house and yours?

We left home about 12ish. Went mums for him to have a wash (we've currently got no heating). It's about a 10/15 mins drive. We then left mum's about 1.40 i think as we were back home for tesco at 2.

So the car has been thoroughly checked? Path from car to house? Bags you took? Outside your mums house? All coat/hoodie pockets?

What did he do when he got home?

Put away with the Tesco shop somehow?

Do you have the Google family link app? It shows the location of child phones.

In my experience, phones can slip out of a pocket and slide down into the narrow gap between car seats. Worth poking about with a long stick to see if you can wiggle it out!
