Would you see the same play (gig etc) a few times in a row?

I am not an obsessive type. I dont even go to see my fav bands more than once or twice. However, right before lockdown I saw a great play I regretted not going and seeing again before it closed. I actually could not sleep for days after as it made me think so much and I loved the performances so much, and then lockdown happened and I always was sad that I only saw it once and would have loved to be able to go at least once more. I was on a lookout for cast projects for ages but they didnt seem to be up to much with one exception I did go and see and again loved.
The same'ish team are putting another thing (seems director likes to collaborate
with some of the cast). It's not a big production, so won’t be hitting big
theatres. I will luckily be able to catch the end of it once we come back from
holidays and it’s going to be a short limited run.

I am actually contemplating buying a ticket for every evening it is on 😂 (which is 4 performances in a row, one day has both matinee and evening).

Now,it's not a big venue as I went there before, will I have to wear a different
wig and moustache or sunglasses on each night so that the cast and staff will
not recognise me?

yes, I regretted not going to see Totoro at the theatre again after seeing it. Lucky for me they are doing another run next year

Split the difference and go twice?

I think gigs are a bit different as I would have no problem going to several on the same tour if time and money allowed.

OMG yes, I would love to see that one again. But Barbican is huge and no one would bat en eyelid if I went 30 times, here it's a small audience and the same staff each night and like, nowhere to hide my weirdness...

I think the staff would probably think you had a close friend or relative in the cast so not weird at all . Do it OP - what is the show?

If you can afford it then go for it. I saw a play last week that knocked my socks off, if I had the money I would go a couple more times in the run.

The tickets are 10/15 per pop for the cheaper seats, so I can afford seeing it 4 times.
Some of the West end etc shows are so much more expensive would not allow this, but off West End can be very generous!
