I recently got a part time job thats around 14 hours a week that worked great with my kids.
I was never asked my bank details, signed a contract and everything seemed very casual. I was trained for a day and whilst training learnt the boss pays employees late, sometimes a few days, sometimes a couple of weeks. This put me off hugely and I started looking for work again. I’ve now got another job that doesn’t start for w few weeks.
However the thought of going this evening to the job fills me with dread. Despite being very causal with payment the boss is very strict.
I also don’t have childcare or a car for tonight so would cost the same in taxis to ferry everyone around that I would earn. Payday is tomorrow
