How long can my family continue to live in a 1 bedroom?

I'm in the states, in a 687 square foot one bedroom we're trying to sell. We just had a buyer who made an offer. We should have accepted it, but countered it and that ended up scaring the buyer away. I'm so sad. We're visiting family now, but I'm already dreading returning to our home.

If you’ve had one offer then you’ll get another one; don’t be too disheartened

Have they definitely been scared off or are they waiting as a negotiation tactic?
Is it too late to call the agent and say you have changed your mind and want to accept their offer?

How many children and how old are they?

Mastmw7g · 29/06/2023 06:59

Yes, it's too late to accept the initial offer. Our agent told us there's no zombie offers in this business.

@Oysterbabe I'm embarrassed to say. There's three children who live there all the time. 11, 9, and 5. One that visits, and is older.

It's still disheartening.
