Cost of cleaning out your gutters

Posting for traffic. Please could you tell me how much is a reasonable amount to pay to get your gutters cleaned? End terrace house with a single story extension (so gutter at the top of the house front and back and then an extra gutter at the back)

Have previously always lived in flats so this was taken care of by the management company, but now in a house so new to all this.

Thanks 🙏

I think I paid £20 last year.

livingthegoodlife · 27/06/2023 22:07

i paid £80 2 storey house with 3 storeys on one side. included garage and porch.

FanFanBam · 27/06/2023 22:09

Paid £50 for ours, front and back - we have a very tall, narrow house.

My husband cleans guttering. The price would depend on the length of the guttering. If the outsides aswell as the insides are to be cleaned? Some gutters are white and get very dirty, covered in moss etc. Its a dangerous, messy job and the windows will need cleaning afterwards usually. I can't give an accurate price without seeing it but we have never cleaned anyones gutters for £20!

dementedpixie · 27/06/2023 22:17

Mine is £10 a side and we have 4 sides so £40. That's just for the crap being cleared out of them. If I want the plastic outsides cleaned it's even more expensive

WimbledonPimms · 27/06/2023 22:20

£20 quid here too - terrace with front and back and extra side gutters.

He knocks to see if we want them done every 6 months or so

You can see some of them from the upstairs windows and he does an amazing job- never needed windows to be cleaned after

I paid £80 a couple of weeks ago. Two storey, small ground floor add on, three bed semi, south west.

I did get a quote of £55 but the guy didn't seem very professional so I paid the extra to avoid any problems.

£80 , 4 bed detached house with large single storey extension. We seem to get tons of moss on the roof, so gutters fill up with lumps of moss.

Stratocumulus · 27/06/2023 22:27

Rented out house: Rural SW village:

End of terrace 3 bed with a gable end so no gutter there.

Just gutters back and front - right across front and similar at rear.
£80.00 last January. UPVC soffits cleaned at same time.

BrioNotBiro · 27/06/2023 23:00

£20 front and back of terrace house including blocked hopper, SE England.

I thought that was very cheap, but they were doing several houses in the street at that time.

SoShallINever · 27/06/2023 23:02

Gettingfleeced · 28/06/2023 05:27
