Evening all,

I have had a brownish / pale mole on my neck that grew larger over the space of 6 months. I've had it photographed at my GPs and been referred to dermatology. Tonight when I was driving home from work I was twiddling it and it fell off in my hand! Anyone know what it is / was. TIA

Yes agree. I had one and was awaiting surgery when it fell off.

I was going to go with a squashed Rice Krispie.

As I hit mid fifties, my moles started dropping off/scratching off.

Apparently they only last about 50 years.

Mine are late developers then!

I'm 67 and I have one on my rib cage that I'm sure will fall off soon. It was a flat disc when I was young and is now attached by a slender stalk.

It started about 6 months ago and doubled in size. Had a shower now, it's left a little hole

Not going to lie, I’m disappointed to open this thread and feel disappointed that are no pictures of moles (animal)

That made me smile x

I had one on my breast, around the size of a 5p.
I went to the doctor and he told me it would eventually drop off, which a few weeks later it did.
He told me the name of it, but I can't remember what it was now.

Could be a skin tag?

Therunecaster · 27/06/2023 21:33

My lovely SD (see other thread on SPs) who is a retired GP has popped down to examine the mole and my neck... verdict is skin tag, nothing to worry about. Bless him.

I'm 62 and the one I have on my lower jaw is still going strong.
