To email a factual timeline to somebody who has told the LA I am not replying to emails or calls

I have had two calls today from the Local Authority. The first was to discuss progress and I raised that the tutor agency that the LA had chosen to use were poor with communication. I mentioned as well that the SEND lead had mentioned more than a week ago that they were chasing as well. Told that she would get the SEND officer to update.
Second phone call was to update SEND officer said agency, after her chasing them for ten days, had contacted her to say they had made numerous attempts to contact me and I neither answered emails nor calls.
WIBU to email agency copying in LA with a factual timeline of the emails I have sent and they have ignored and the appointment for a phone call I have made that they haven't kept and the times I have called and left messages that have been ignored or is that just petty?
For reference it's coming up to three months now that I have been chasing them and had one email back arranging a call that they never made when the referral from the LA was a supposedly urgent one (I saw the referral so know it was sent as I was copied in)

Absolutely do it. No downside.

I did this before (reporting LA to regulators) and it worked a treat! The regulators were aghast at how awful the LA were. I genuinely believe they operate this way on purpose to grind people down and lead them to give up.

That tactic does not work with me and only hastens my resolve to get an adequate response.

@RunningUpThatBuilding Just for once it isn't the LA playing silly beggars, probably because the formal complaint is in and the consultant they have brought in to shake things up is overseeing things hence me being copied in on referrals sent. LA have already agreed to pay me for every month the provision isn't in place so they have a vested interest in getting dd's EOTAS package up and running.
I've told LA today that if communication is this bad I have serious doubts about them supplying a reliable service or addressing any concerns when an email and phone call is apparently beyond them.

I'd do it as long as you've checked your spam/junk folder to make sure there's nothing important lurking in there...!

Leeds2 · 27/06/2023 19:26

I would absolutely do this. As long as you have checked your spam/junk folder, and are certain that they have your correct email/telephone details.

I've had the same experience they also confidently told the school they had spoken to "mum" and she was fiiiine with ds staying mainstream which surprised the hell out of both of us because I was sitting in the office at the time lamenting the time it was taking to reply to a simple email

hiredandsqueak · 27/06/2023 19:36

@Theunamedcat I have the LA's Head of SEND recorded admitting that she lied and told school to lie at a meeting with my solicitor there. When I challenged the school they said they needed to check with the LA before admitting they lied as well. Funnily enough she admitted lying whilst denying they were deliberately incompetent as though lying was better.
