Absolutely! Myself and younger daughter would sit all day having our hair stroked and played with - husband and elder daughter cannot bear it.

Depends who is doing it!
But obviously the most comforting thing is a crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside jacket potato with butter and salt.

Nope. I don't actively hate it, but it does nothing for me whatsoever.

Other than my mother when I was a child which I can't remember, no one has ever offered to stroke my hair! The hairdresser massage is a favourite though.

I'm just remembering a time when I was really upset over something and my friend sat with me and stroked my hair. I've always thought of it and now, when times are tough, I wish for that again.

My top comforting thing is reading a good book, sitting by a real fire wrapped in cozy jammy style clothes when its blowing a hoolie outside (also if there is some delicious smell of dinner coming from the kitchen, even better)

Ew no, don't like my hair played with. Agree with the jacket potato, best ones I've had after years of baking my own are actually the frozen McCain ones, so lovely and fluffy inside. Also a perfectly made cup of tea at the right temperature, warm socks on cold feet, getting into bed at night.

To me, definitely. I know to my dc it's the worst thing ever except occasionally.

I'm still waiting for the day I can pay someone to do this. 1 hr a day or something. More often if I can afford it. My family cba.

I've watched YouTube videos of people taking turns to do it to each other. Even the videos are so relaxing and I can feel the tingles in my hair. It just makes me wish I was there too much so I rarely watch.

I tell my 8 year old daughter that we are going to play with each others hair and she plays with mine and it's so relaxing i literally fall asleep.

No hair stroking. I don’t really enjoy the hairdresser head massage either.

That moment when you climb into bed and relax against the pillows is comforting. Picking up the Kindle and starting to read a good book too. I try to combine the two.

I love it, as does my 7 year old DD, so we take it in turns to play with each other’s hair 😂

I love it , when I'm quite stressed my dh will have me sit in front of him whilst we watch something and just run his fingers through my hair, it's so relaxing

Yep, definitely my favourite thing. Out of my three big serious relationships,only my current partner likes doing it and is good at it. I bribe my kids with one more episode of whatever if they play with my hair 🤣..but also yes to the book, chair, tea, fire thing.
