Sorry posting here for traffic I was wondering if these are signs of autism in children.

  1. fist and teeth clenching
  2. little sense of danger
  3. hitting hands on both sides of head
  4. doesn’t like loud noises and covers ears
  5. gets overwhelmed in busy areas/where there is lots going on
  6. stomping

My son who has been diagnosed with ASD does three of these on your list sometimes. But from what I've picked up during the diagnosis process (which took several years and assessments through the NHS), it doesn't seem as simple as ticking off symptoms from a list. Neuro-typical children could also display some of these 'signs'. You need to talk to a professional - start with asking GP or health visitor for a referral.

4 out of 6 on that list are pretty much toddler / preschooler behaviour

It sounds like he's struggling to process sensory input. On its own it isn't a sign of autism. How is he with social interaction, routine changes, etc?
