Found it? If you didn't purposely grow it then I wouldn't touch it, it may be old and likely has been wee'd on by many an animal

Oh yes, I grew it from peelings in the compost.. I didn't see it sooner as it was trapped under the wire netting which is supposed to keep the chickens off the garden...fat chance. And I'll wash and peel it well, so cat wee will be well gone. Kumara chips ...yummy...

No, the Far North of NZ ...but it's winter here, and the sweet potatoes just keep on growing. I've given away well over 100 kgs this year already.
