To ask if you move a person on a bed is the same as lifting them

Surely it’s better to just life the person then moving the bed with person on it.this is not a bed with whelels on just a normal wooden bed.

What? Better for what?

What? move them where? Need a bit more information to understand what you're asking.

Can you explain a bit more
As a carer I wouldn't lift a person or move a bed without wheels....

Topseyt123 · 23/06/2023 16:15

Very unclear what you are talking about. Who are you moving and why? Adult or small child? Etc ....

IncompleteSenten · 23/06/2023 16:17

Really depends. Size of person, if they have injuries, if they are resistant to being moved and so it's safer to move them in the bed than try to wrestle them out of it etc.

Same. (Ex carer)
I wouldn't lift anyone without the correct equipment.
