I'm guessing this thread is meant to be light-hearted, but what is it with men and their selfishness and greed. I hope he buys you another one OP. I bought (out of my own money) a variety of alcoholic drinks on the weekend for my birthday as we were having people over. Dh and I have been on annual leave this week so he's obviously consuming the left overs. So now when I fancy one, I doubt they'll be much left. They are selfish twats.

It's apparently impossible for a family member to "steal" food and you are controlling and guilty of promoting disordered eating on the part of your poor OH for even insinuating that this is shoddy behaviour 😂.

Please ask him to come on here so we can counsel him on how to escape your evil, controlling clutches.

You should work out how many calories there were in the amount of YOUR ice cream that he ate, then make him run enough miles to burn off those calories whilst wearing a placard that says "I'm a selfish twat - I ate my wife's ice cream".

100 calories is about 1 mile for a typical runner, so if he has eaten 3/4 of the ice cream, that's over 800 calories, so he needs to run 8 miles!

I'm a diabetic and I love ice cream, I would be somewhat murderous if dh did this. 😀
