To ask my DH to have the day off work?

I'm sick! I'm talking physically can't get out of bed, flu type sick. I feel unable to look after our DC who is 1 years old and needs lots of attention. Not to mention I don't want to get too close if I'm contagious.

I've asked my DH to take the day off and he's not. I've tried to call my Mum but she's away today and I literally don't know what to do. I feel so poorly.

I just know if it was the other way round, I'd help my husband out and take an afternoon on to look after our child 😓

Yes of course he should take the day off. Can you call him at tell him he needs to come home to look after DC?

I've gone in and did not even leave time for a response. I expect to see him through the door shortly 🤣

Of course he should, I had a virus flu thing recently and literally couldn’t get out of bed for 4 days, was the worst ill I can remember being. DH took 2 days off (the others were a weekend) to look after our 2 little ones, no question he wouldn’t. Call him and say you are unable to care for the baby due to being too ill and he needs to step in immediately
