Am I insane for wanting to move house now? I’m unexpectedly (but happily) pregnant with our first and I’m worried that our current house will be too small. It’s a tiny two up, two down (my partner WFH full time), plus it doesn’t have a drive or garden.
We have some savings and equity in the current house that will allow us to buy somewhere bigger but as I’ll go on Mat leave in January, our income will be significantly reduced and I’m worried about interest rates and saddling ourselves with bigger monthly outgoings while I’m not earning as much. Also- what if I’m not able to go back to work full time afterwards so never earn the same again? I don’t want to be cramped in there forever or be restricted to having one child because of space..
Overthinking and hormonal and feel like I’m running out of time!!
