To ask for help with Nike Air Jordans Sizing

Sorry for the AIBU, posted in Style and Beauty and not a single comment...and time is of the essence as need to purchase in the next couple of days!!...

Just looking for advice please, for any of you who have purchased Air Jordans for a teen DS, what size did you get? Mine takes a UK 9.5 in Air Force One, but from memory you have to buy them half a size down. Are Jordans the same or true to size? He takes a UK 10 in most shoes.

If you've bought some for your DS/DD/DH, what size shoe do they usually take in most shoes, and then what size Jordans did you buy?

Thank you. :)

All my Nike Jordans are either true to size or half a size up.

I made mine try them on in shop to check. I think they were their normal size, not like air force 1s. But be careful where you buy from.

Alas, trying on isn't an option, I need to buy online, so need the best guess at the right size

I'm a 5 and my size 5 Jordans are a bit tight. think it also depends on style, mine are Jordan 1s, 4s might be different again. Is there really no option to try on?

No, he's not here until the day before his birthday, by which time I need to have them bought and wrapped. Buying online means an easy return if I have got it wrong, but I'd like to get it right the first time if poss!

I had to go a size up when getting my DD Jordans, they seem to come up small.

My DS has Jordans and also Nike Vapormax - he has the same size in each.

if you buy from somewhere that has a shop you can exchange them if they don’t fit. There are so many fake Jordan shops online so better to get from somewhere you know you can exchange anyway.

Appreciating all the heads up about fakes but I'm buying from the Nike store online

One of my sons has dozens of pairs. He’s a size 8.5/9 in shoes but wears a 9 in Jordan 1 and 4s. However he tried on some Jordan Luka 1s whilst we were out at the weekend and he said they felt more snug.

Oh, the eternal question of sneaker sizing, especially when it comes to Air Jordans! I totally get the urgency; nobody wants to miss out on a fresh pair, especially if they're limited edition.
I recently did some shoe shopping myself and stumbled upon some cool insights at kickslounge.com. They have a pretty detailed collection of Nikes, including Air Jordans. According to them, Jordans generally run true to size. However, the fit can vary based on the particular model. If your teen usually takes a UK 10 in most shoes, it's likely that a UK 10 in Jordans would be a safe bet.
