Just read a thread about some wife ruing fathers day...even though she pulled out all the stops, turned round after work and cooked a roast and made cute little napkin holders etc.... I bet she doesn't get the same done for her on Mother's Day?

Anyway....surely it's WAGS like this, who put their partners on stupidly high pedestals, tiptoeing round them, treating them like God's gift whilst they put themselves last that still ingrains misogyny into the back bone of Britain?

The reason for misogyny is misogynists. Not wives and girlfriends putting their partners on a pedestal.

I ‘pull out all the stops’ for my husband and put him on a pedestal and he’s never treated me badly. He rates me as highly as I rate him. He treats me just as well as I treat him. That’s because he’s a good man and not a misogynist.

Nothing I do or don’t do could either make him be misogynistic, or stop him from being misogynistic. It’s dependant on who he is.
