Posting here for traffic as I can't get help from Play station this evening
So was purchasing a game for DD and to be quite honest am shite with ps4 controllers.
Anyway, was in the cart and ready to checkout and I noticed the card stored in there was an old one, last 4 digits 1234 (not real number) and new bank card 5678. Old bank card ticked as the card to use. I had the new bank card to put in details and struggled to go through checkout, pressed wrong buttons and another game flashed up saying "media" which I assumed was a trailer and when I got back to shopping cart and it was in there along with game I wanted to purchase. I tried to delete it, but accidentally pressed purchase.
So instead of spending £4.59 I've spent £66.48.
My query is, first of all I didn't put in new card details, haven't got PayPal, couldn't pay by phone as I didn't put telephone number in, and had no store credits. So how in earth has this payment gone through. Second query is will old bank card still work (approx one year out of date)
Game is now downloading so under terms of PS I can't get a sodding refund. So annoyed with myself. Checked bank and with a difference in available balance and actual balance it's difficult to see if payment has been taken yet.
Will contact PS tomorrow but just wondering of someone has had something similar?
