Noticed after we had eaten some oven cooked chips that the coating off the pan had peeled. I threw the rest of the chips away as I could some with tin on but panicking about kids ingesting some of the pan! I suffer from bad anxiety 😟

I don't think they will have ingested enough for it to cause harm. I would throw the pan away.

Dishwashing is death for non-stick coating. It gets under the surface and the whole lot just slides off.
If I want to keep the tin I use baking paper in between the food and the tin.
I now buy heavy duty enamel, Lidl regularly sells it. A soak and a scrub is enough.

if the chips had had enough of the non-stick stuff on them to cause harm, they would have been completely inedible (even for kids). Don't panic. Just chuck out the baking tin and pick up a new one next time you go shopping.

Also, its really unhealthy to suffer this level of anxiety. Are you getting any sort of help?
