Just that.
AIBU to think that in the heat we've had this week I'd be able to crack a draught through the house without filling it with smoke?
By all means have a BBQ for lunch or tea. Invite your friends round.
If it's a chilly evening on a spring day (or bonfire night) when very few people are trying to cool their house down, by all means have a fire in your fire pit to sit around and rub your frozen fingers over.
But when the mercury is pushing 30 inside the house (maybe not quite there today but this is their second fire this week) perhaps take a moment to consider how much damage we've already done to the climate and just put on a fiucking cardi. Might be early for us grown ups to go to bed but I'd rather not be sleeping in a sauna.
( I also have two kids in the house with asthma and would quite like for them to be able to breathe. But I wouldn't expect my neighbours to know that. They do however know how hot it has been this week since, you know, they live round here)
