AIBU to ask you a ridiculous question about my Yoga Pillow?

There's insignificant problems, and then there's this...

I've just bought a lovely yoga pillow for my yoga & meditation classes. I'd like it to smell of lavender. What could I get that would make it smell lovely?

The teacher in the class sprays a bit of lavender about, and it smells really nice (in the class, I don't really like the smell in my house!)

I could get drops, but would they stain the pillow? Is there something else?

As PP says, pillow mist would be a good start and I've had that Boots one before. If you want a lavender smelling pillow it will do the job nicely!

There are quite a few different ones available from different brands. . I'm currently using this one - which is lavender mixed with other essential oils https://www.escentual.com/loccitane/cocon-de-serenite/laromachologie004/

Some can be a bit overpowering - I bought an Aromatherapy Associates one because I liked the scent in a bath oil but it was too much when you are basically lying face down in it and breathing it in 🙂

My favourite one ever (I'm much too invested in pillow spray, I'm beginning to realise), is an La Bruket one called 7 flowers which is garden in idealised form. They do another one with lavender in it.

The only thing with these sprays is that they don't last that long. So you don't want to be spraying your pillow every 5 minutes during your asanas. If your pillow has a seam (to unpick to make an opening) or a slip cover could you maybe buy/make some sachets of dried lavender and pop them in? Might be a daft suggestion but if feasible it could give you a more long lasting result.

This stuff is amazing and just one spray lasts for days. I can smell (in a pleasant way) even when the bottle is just in the room.
