IKOS at the end of October.. AIBU?

AIBU to think it would be warm at any of them? I know October is end of season, but we’re desperate to try IKOS. The locations are Corfu, Halkidiki, Kos, Majorca and Costa Del Sol. Would it be warm enough at any of them for usual holiday activities of sunbathing on the beach, chilling by the pool? We’re not fussed for blazing hot weather but I’m thinking 20-25 degrees

I've visited Kos early October and it was mid twenties. Evenings were cool with a light jacket/sleeves needed.

To get honest for all of those locations I think it could be hit or miss. Kos or Costa del Sol being your best bet.

We've done ikos in Corfu and Malaga in Oct - Corfu was consistently warmer and there are LOADS of activities too, ie covered yoga and pilates, shuttle into town, inside swimming pools, spa which aren't weather dependent. Pick one with lots of different bars though just in case you're on rotation in them! Gets boring being in the same one, as we found in Halkidiki recently.

That’s great to hear thank you. Would you still recommend it at the end of season then overall? Was it warm enough to go to the beach at any point?

@djlon yes and yes! Was canoeing with DH in Corfu and the kids paddle boarded every day

Love IKOS we’ve just come back from Dassia and are going to Aria in September. We’re a retired couple and plan to take our sons and their families soon, the facilities for children are excellent.
I would think Aria or Andalusia in answer to your question. Have fun and go on a diet before you go, my husband and I put on a stone between us in a week! 😱
P.S.
There are very informative Facebook groups for the IKOS hotels.

I would book last minute. Its not a sure thing by any stretch .

We got a bit cocky with it as generally do late oct and weather is generally fab but we had two real shockers. Think sitting round the pool clurching a pool towel for warmth.

We went to Ikos Dassia in the October half term. We had 5 days sun (warm, not hot) and 2 showery. The pools weren't that warm.

I didn't feel we got the full Ikos experience though as there was no nighttime entertainment, no teens club and very little choice in wine. All the ones that had been recommended were finished for the season and they were just using up what they had. If those sort of things don't bother you then go for it. We took one of the Minis out for a day which was great fun,

Thank you, that’s good to know. Could you sit by the pool?

Yes I sat by the pool most days. It was pleasant, around 20/21 degrees if I remember correctly.

Just to say also, you are more likely to get higher temperatures in October in Kos as it is that bit further south.

It would be middle/end of October … really torn between resorts, which has the best chance of good weather etc at that time
