As the title says, she’s a lovely woman & I’ve grown to trust her A LOT with my face (Botox). We’re not close in terms of me invited to her wedding or anything like that. I’m booked to see her Friday. So WIBU to buy her a little wedding gift as she’s getting married soon? Nothing fancy, just two nice little mugs saying “Mr & Mrs” & a wooden heart off her dog saying “My humans have tied the knot” that goes around a bottle of wine? Or just not get anything? Thanks x

I wouldn't because I prefer to maintain a professional relationship only with my dentist. But that's me.

Sorry not exactly off her dog but she has the same dog as me & we always talk about them & she absolutely adores her dog x

True. She’s not my dentist, she is a dentist but does my Botox if that makes sense.

Sorry I’ve put in the title “my dentist” I was meant to say, is a dentist but does my Botox. Typo on my part 😅

I think it's a lovely gesture and something I have done in the past.

If thats what you'd like to do, then of course. Not exactly the same but I bought the lady who does my nails something when she had a baby earlier this year. We might not quite be friends outside the salon, but she probably knows more about me than some actual friends.

I'm a hairdresser & a few of my clients bought us a wedding gift when we got married in April. Was a lovely gesture from them & much appreciated. I'd say go for it!

I think a card at most instead of a gift but I probably wouldn't I think these sort of relationships aren't real for example I would get waxed by this lady for ages we would laugh tell eachother stuff I haven't told anyone, think you can over share when someone doing intimate work but I saw her in Tesco's and she didn't even say hi. I think she probably in work mode and creating a warm and friendly experience is part of the business. I know I sound cynical haha.

It maybe wasn't personal, when I see people out of their normal "place" I have no idea who they are 🤣
