GP thinks it’s fungal. Been on a topical cream for nearly two weeks now. No change.

Does it look more like Psoriasis? It’s itchy

Grateful for any advice on how to cure/manage this.

Do you wear glasses? And have you changed glasses recently?

AliceMay55 · 10/06/2023 21:36

No, I don’t wear glasses. The is one more flaky round area above this :(

Doesn't look like psoriasis...I'm unsure what it looks like, but fungal is a good possibility.

Sebborheic(sp) dermatitis? Essentially dandruff on the face?

Possibly! I had scalp dandruff for as long as I can remember! I wash my hair thrice a week to keep it under control.

What could have caused this to now start on my face? Should I be washing my hair more often?

BCC?

Has it grown over time or just suddenly appeared?

Try washing it in Nizoral shampoo. Obviously that's for your scalp but I have heard of people using it as a skin wash too for fungal infections.
