Wood burn hot tub or inflatable

Dinoswearunderpants · 09/06/2023 11:06

I have some money to spend in the garden and I was debating whether to invest in a wood burn hot tub but I'm not sure whether we'd use it that much.

Curious to hear if others have one and regret it.

Or I might buy one of the inflatable ones instead.

Any thoughts?

Buy an inflatable one and see how much you use it. If you end up using it a lot, flog it and buy a proper one.

I think we're going to just get an inflatable one then create the mechanics to make it a wood burner.

I love the look of the wood burning ones but from experience they do absolutely stink and my friend who has one has had complaints from her next door neighbour. The chimney is very high and kicks out loads of smoke at bedroom window level which obviously is awful for next door. I think in a detached house with loads of space, great. Not so much with close neighbours.

Be prepared for the electric bill for the inflatable.we had one for a bit. Couldn't justify the expense now. Its like paying a winter bill all year round
