Apologies, posting here for traffic (I thought I posted yesterday but the post doesn’t seem to have actually posted).
My DH are planning a 5-6 day holiday on August with DSS8 and DD4.
Have no choice over it being August due to the dates we have DSS and are committed to going abroad this year (we have done plenty of UK holidays together).
Does anyone have any recommendations for holiday destinations a short flight away, that won’t been too crowded or obscenely hot in mid-August? We’d be looking for beach and a bit of culture, and would stay in a rental rather than an all-inclusive.
To pre-empt, I know August is a ridiculously busy and expensive time to go away and I know there are plenty of lovely places in the UK but we are committed to going abroad!
