Weird fluttering on and off in my lower abdomen on one side- ovulation or something worrying?

It is around about ovulation but it feels like there’s a baby fluttering in my lower right abdomen. It’s literally like that weird bubbly feeling with early pregnancy. My tummy fat even wobbles a bit.

coukd this be ovulation?
gas?

should I call 111?

Are they phantom baby kicks? I get them now and then and they don’t mean anything and most likely just gas. YABU to ring 111. Get a GP appointment if you are concerned but it doesn’t sound like it needs immediate attention unless I’ve completely misunderstood what 111 is for?

Wind

Start writing down when they happen and where, see if you notice a pattern re diet/movement/cycle.

Sounds like a muscle twitching or wind.

Wind. I went to the gp because I could feel lumps in my lower abdomen (on my left). The gp had a poke and pronounced me " thin, but not so thin she should be able to feel anything there's I was sent for a scan. The sonographer very quickly diagnosed...a big poo.

Wind. I get these too, I sometimes think to myself how much it feels like baby kicks, but I know for a dfact I am not pregnant.

PossiblyNotOne · 05/06/2023 12:48

Why would you ring 111?

It’ll be wind.

OP the reason I said this is that it could be wind but for me it wasn't (i had pains that made me gasp as well as the fluttering). It wasn't anything superscary but it did need investigation and a record of when I felt it was useful when I spoke to the doc.

I think most of us by now can tell the difference between trapped wind and something else.
