Posting for traffic….. shoot me down in flames! I did look for prom dress topic …. none Exist
please can some one tell me where to look in Exeter …. New to area and literally have no time to organise!…. Hoping the mumsnet community will help me out rather than kick me when I’m down for posting in the ‘ wrong’ thread! 🥰

Quiz in Exeter had some nice ones that were reasonably priced today I would say this is the best place.

We looked (but didn't buy) in the bridal Emporium on Fore Street -lovely but very expensive dresses.
Over the road from here is a small arcade and the shop Real McCoy has vintage dresses.

Not from the area but search to see if there is a charity shop in the area that specialises in wedding dresses. The ones around us that do also have prom dresses and you can get lovely once/twice worn ones cheaper and with the satisfaction you are not creating more waste.

My daughter bought her dress online a couple of years ago, if you can get something that is pretty good you can get it altered to be perfect. Ayesha Sews gets great reviews, but she might be getting full up this time of year.

Hello fellow Exonian! My DD is wearing a dress which is officially a bridesmaid dress, but suits her prom requirements exactly. There are a few Bridal shops who do bridesmaid dresses too - we used the one down by the quay, called Wed2Be.
