It’s normal to feel guilty and sad. Hope you are ok

I know this is an old post, but I’m in exactly the same situation now, having just lost our beloved dog.

he seemed fine 2 weeks ago. Really regret choice of vet and feel this affected, if not the eventual outcome, but at least the overall experience

I hope a bit of time has eased your feeling at least a little

I lost a dog at 5. I also still wonder if there may have been things I could have done differently but ultimately it won't have changed the outcome. I think it's natural to feel that way but it does pass. I don't feel guilt about it and have fond memories.
