Have I Been Scammed? What is a Mobile ID ticket?

Had an email earlier from Disney Tickets offering priority booking for Disney On Ice. Never been before, always wanted to, on a whim booked tickets. Received a confirmation email that says tickets are “mobile ID” tickets so will not receive email tickets (it’s possible this is a new fangled thing I’m just not aware of). Really anxious I’ve been scammed. Anyone have any knowledge of WTF a mobile ID ticket is/booking Disney on Ice tickets?! Would appreciate some reassurance this is normal please so I don’t spend the next few days worrying I’ve just been conned out of £100 😬😬😬

You download their app, the tickets appear in the app and are scanned by staff on arrival.

Who emailed you?

have you read the email? It will tell you which app to download to see your tickets.

Who emailed you originally and where did the confirmation come from? Not the header name, the actual email address.

What was the website address you bought the tickets from?

When we went to Disney on ice at O2 last year our mobile tickets were through AXS. You should have had an email with details

I had an email about Disney on Ice Presale this morning, so I believe it's genuine.

This is on the FAQ on the Presale page on the email link:
When will I get my tickets to Disney On Ice - 100 Years of Wonder?
Dispatch of tickets may vary between venues and is dependent on whether they are sent by post or print at home tickets.
Tickets for the O2 Arena, London will be delivered as a Mobile ID via the venue’s own app, which is a third-party application. Please refer to your confirmation email for more details.
Most tickets will be dispatched approximately 14 days before the performance.
If you have not received your tickets 48 hours prior to the performance, please call our Guest Services team on 0800 640 8101.

What does the email tell you to do?
