Inlaws live in a house behind a council park. They have a fence, but the other side of this fence is covered with all kinds of climbing plants/hedges that are now growing through the Fence and starting to damage it.
We pulled out some climbers that have been crawling in like crazy. But the thick strong stems are hard to properly cut back IFKWIM.
Mil is beginning to get worried this will totally destroy the fence and the expense involved in sorting it out.
AIBU to think the council should sort this out ? As the problem is on their land, destroying the fence?
