To feel angry and uninterested at everything

Just this. 44 single. No issues with that just feel annoyed and possibly even depressed at everything lately. No interest in much . Have a teen dd 15 who just seems lazy and ungrateful lately and it’s annoying me more than normal? Is this what peri menopause looks like? Had depression before but this feels different. Really don’t want to get anti depressants again but feel I’ve got no choice. Can anyone relate or is this just how things feel as you get older?

Probably not really an AIBU but you get more traffic here.

If you go to the menopause board you will get traffic, and yes, I think your feelings could be caused by peri menopause/hormones/age.

You will get more advice there..

Very similar yes. I'm a bit younger but know what you mean.

I've found low doses of CBD helpful, the gummies are good 😊

Hopefully someone will be along with a helpful answer. Just wanted to say you're not alone!

That’s sort of how I felt for about a 18 months. An anger that seemed unreasonable and not caused by anyone or anything and I felt detached and disinterested in mostly everything 😅
I didn’t realise it was the perimenopause until I was over the worst of it.

I'm 48 and this is exactly how I'm feeling. I got the Mirena coil last year and don't know if it's just a coincidence but like you am feeling angry and irritated by lots and it's got worse since then. I used to be such a people pleaser and am now the exact opposite!
