I arranged an eirc and pat test. My mum let the engineer into the premises, I had to work offsite, but I had briefed the engineer and paid for the tests.
When I received the results, the test certificate is included and includes the pat test certificate, but DM says the electrician didn't actually carry out the pat test. She assumed he ran out of time and would rearrange that part, but now I've had the certificate through.
The certificate contains fewer items than I wanted doing, and some items that we don't even have on the premises yet, like a copier. I've gone back to the electrician but it's difficult getting a straight answer after the event as it's a biggish company.
There are no stickers on plugs but google tells me they aren't compulsory so that's no help.
I don't want someone to be injured as a result. Has this happened to anyone?
