My leg swelled up and I was diagnosed with a DVT 5 months ago. I’ve had treatment with blood thinners but my leg is still extremely swollen. It’s causing issues eg a minor scratch has turned into an ulcer (several ulcers). I’ve been referred to a lymphoedema clinic but that could take months (more!) on the NHS. If you have had liposuction to reduce lymphoedema, could you tell me if it’s been effective? And did you go private or via the NHS? TIA!
