But it's charity so I feel like I am being a boot!

Item I've wanted for a while but can't afford willy nilly.

£2 a ticket for charity auction on FB. 25 tickets originally listed.

I bought 2.
Pretty good odds. Sold out quickly.

So they added another 25. Then another. Then another.

So originally I had a 2 in 25 chance of winning which I felt was worth chancing £4.

Its no a 2 in 225 chance.

Do you think it's fair to list an item with 1-25 ticket spaces then keep adding more spaces?

TBH I know the answer. If they can raise 450 quid for the charity instead of 50 why wouldn't they?! 😂 It makes sense to!

I'm just being bitter because I want it 😂

Yeah, that's a bit crap. They should have just said "tickets £2" and not had a limit on numbers from the start, otherwise it's being sold as much better odds than you're actually getting.

I guess at least you can clearly afford the £2 and it's going to charity, but still!

Yeah that would frustrate me too, especially because if you question it people will inevitably use the oh it's for charity line so I can completely see where you're coming from. Surely the best option is to say tickets £2 Each on sale until X date.

Yes. If the original post had 225 spaces listed I wouldn't have bothered, but 25 tickets seemed worth the risk.
