To spend £££s on noise cancelling headphones (dp snores)

DP snores so loud like his life depends on in it it's outrageously bad. He was recently diagnosed with Sleep apnea got the Cpap sometimes I can still hear him through it but he's asked the sleep clinic to up it & he's been trialling it downstairs on the sofa as i was still getting woken up and zero sleep! I am a stupidly light sleeper i would wake up with a pin drop !

At the moment only way it works is if we sleep separately as I still getting woken up which I dont want permanently.
We are away in a few weeks and have to share a room so I'm looking for something I can wear

. Tried wax ear plugs but no good. Can anyone recommend any other types or shall I resign myself to pay £££ on noise cancelling headphones ideally I don't want music on when I'm sleeping I just want something powerful to drown out noise.
I knows he trying with the cpap mask it's just I'm worried if he just doesn't wear it properly or rips it off in the middle of the night if it's not working when we go away there's no other room for him to sleep on other than the balcony 🤣
Any ideas be great thanks x

I'd recommend some AirPods Pro - I can sleep on mine quite comfortably.

I find the noise cancelling to be enough to block most noise, I have sensory issues with noise so this is really important to me. I use them on holiday when I have to share a room or there is unfamiliar outside noise, I usually play some music or an audiobook very low volume and it gets me off to sleep nicely. Fully charged they should last enough of the night for you to feel well rested.

I wouldn't the noise cancelling is bad for your ears for long periods ear plugs or separate room are better
