With the hairdresser?

I get hair extensions at Salon A who don’t colour hair.

Salon B did my colour but are really pushing me to get my hair extensions done with Salon B. They asked their hair extension colleague to colour match me, making that colleague have to awkwardly fit me in around their clients, then days later sent me an email to follow up with a booking then asked their colleague to text me with their availability.

I don’t want to book in with them. I would like to get my hair extensions done with salon A, then get my colour and extensions done with Salon B in the future when I need colour, as it’s easier/less travel/less time off work to not have to visit 2 places. Salon A is more experienced and I trust their hair extension lady more. Aibu here? I don’t know if that’s a big no-no and the same stylist needs to re-fit extensions once in.

YUNBU Hair salon is being ridiculous. I get my colour done by a mobile but everything else in a salon and it's never been brought up in conversation by either hairdresser.

You need to tell them to stop. That you are not going to do it and if they aren't happy to simply colour your hair that's fine, you'll go elsewhere.

It’s so odd because both salon owners know each other, Salon A recommended me to Salon B and give them business…whereas Salon B is more than happy to poach me. I think Salon B’s colour is good but that doesn’t mean they’re great with extensions also!
