I had a nice chat with our postie this morning. He was really nice and I felt a bit guilty.

They've been given an extra break today to watch the coronation. Not sure how easy that'll be when out delivering...

Because they are legally obligated to deliver 6 days a week - Monday to Saturday, except when there is a bank holiday.

Royal Mail have asked the government to reduce it to 5 days and the government have rejected the request.

Given this is the first day royal mail have been in my street, I'm thankful for the weeks worth of post I've received.

I don't know why they didn't do the coronation on the Friday and make that the BH day off.
